I have been working in the IT industry since I my Computer training at the RCA in Cherry Hill , NJ (1967). RCA hired me and after training I was transferred to Boston Mass to work in the Computer repair Depot. I then was hired my Digital Equipment Corp, to work on the PDP8 production line building PDP8's & PDP8L. After the production line was transferred to Western Massachusetts, I was promoted to Tech Support in New York City. where I worked until 1972 when I went to work for Data General Corporation as a field Engineer, In 1973 I was transferred to Chicago, Ill. to open the Regional Tech Support Center, covering the Mid-West States, Once this office was established, I relocated to the R.T.P. in Raleigh NC area to work on Fountain Head Project and advanced computer.

In 1982 I took a job with my father-in-law networking his 6 McDonalds restaurants and writing back office software to poll the stores and do Payroll and Inventory controls. I did this until 1986 when he passed away and My wife and I became owners of of McDonalds Store #936 in Moorestown, NJ. I kept up my consulting business and in 1997 I was divorced and moved to Greensboro, NC and started Barrett Computer Services.

I am thankful to McDonalds for teaching me what customer service is all about.
